CSN currently has the following immediate job openings:
Office Administrator
The Office Administrator must be dedicated to CSN’s mission, that of transforming, empowering and building connections in our communities by promoting recovery and wellness. Applicants do not need to be consumers, but should fully embrace the peer movement, which focuses on the empowerment of persons as they navigate the mental health care system.
This position is part-time, in-office at 30 hours per week. The hiring range is $18- $23 per hour based upon experience and qualifications.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Information Technology and a demonstrated ability to effectively support staff with limited technical resources and skill competencies. Preferred candidates will possess solid organizational skills, excellent inter-personal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft applications, have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and efficiently manage large volumes of incoming applications, surveys and other time-sensitive data. Experience working in a non-profit desired.
Responsibilities of the Office Administrator will include:
• Database development & management through Microsoft Access.
• Technical support of integrated communication systems (TDS and One to One). •Maintenance of the MHCSN website and other social networking sites.
• Supporting and troubleshooting technical needs of our eight Regional Resource Centers.
• Scheduling for Executive Director and part-time Regional Directors.
• Supervising, recruiting and recognition of office volunteers.
• Gathering monthly and quarterly data from Regional Directors.
• Assisting in the development of annual reports.
• Working directly with the Director of Development and Communications in gathering attachments for grants, submitting grant proposals and developing & maintaining a Foundations database.
• Developing content for quarterly newsletters.
• Assisting in the development of our annual Recovery and Wellness Conference
• Organizing and planning three staff trainings each year.
• Routing phone calls and mail delivery systems.
• Other general administrative tasks as delegated by staff and the Executive Director.

WarmLine Coordinator
Part-time positions are available in the following Regional Resource Center offices:
- Marshall
- Winona
Responsibilities include:
- Supervision of WarmLine staff
- Creating staff scheduling
- Statistic tracking
- Filling in shifts as needed
- Facilitating monthly meetings
- Supervisory follow up
Essential Qualifications:
- Must identify as having a mental health diagnosis
- Understand peer support principles
- Exercise appropriate WarmLine boundaries
- Excellent phone skills
- Compassionate nature
- Organizational, administrative and supervisory skills.
Coordinator must have own transportation.
Training is provided.

Regional Resource Coordinator
Position is available in the following region:
- Southeast MN
The regional resource coordinator organizes consumers and works with providers and mental health organizations to promote recovery. Resource coordinators fight discrimination and oppression by demonstrating, modeling and teaching recovery, advocacy and self-help. In addition coordinators provide education to consumers, families, providers and the general population.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assess the needs and gaps in the local mental health delivery system.
• Conducting Self Help Training sessions and the WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) series.
• Present on mental health topics to consumers, families, providers, employers and general population.
• Provide information and referral services
• Develop working relationships with CSPs, Self-Help Centers, Drop-In Centers and other consumer organizations.
• Attend Mental Health initiative, local advisory council and/or other meetings that impact mental health services.
Essential Qualifications:
• Self-Motivation
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to empower people.
• Ability to be confident and tactful in dealing with mental health professionals.
• Ability to network with advocacy organizations.
• Computer literacy or a willingness to learn.
• Organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel and must have reliable transportation, insurance and a phone.
• Firm belief in the concept of consumers, providers and families working together to develop a recovery oriented mental health system.
• Belief in the mission of CSN.
• Professional representation of the Mental Health Consumer/Survivor Network.
